Visiting Jackhouse Nature Reserve is easy to access by walking down Pot House Lane. There is no on-site parking at Jackhouse Nature Reserve so it would always be recommended to park on Fielding Lane and walk from here, it is only a short 5-10 minutes walk to the reserve.

 

Accessibility

Newly laid paths around Jackhouse Nature Reserve means that it is now accessible to everyone. It would be recommended to wear walking boots on your visit as the approach to the reserve is a little uneven with well-worn roads.

 

How to get Here

Visiting Jackhouse Nature Reserve is best to walk from Fielding Lane and down Pot House Lane towards the reserve. If you are local to the reserve, then you will not be driving. If you are travelling from further afield, Jackhouse Nature Reserve is located at the bottom of Pot House Lane which is just off Fielding Lane as can be seen in the map below. Only 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of Oswaldtwistle.

 

Parking

There is no parking at the entrance of the reserve, so it would be recommended to park your car on Fielding Lane and walk down Pot House Lane to the very bottom until you reach the nature reserve.
